Meet The Lynn Fee Team Behind MoveToGrimsby.com

Sep 14, 2026 | Real Estate

You might have arrived here looking at homes or trying to work out which part of Grimsby would suit you. Before you get in touch, you probably want to know a little about the people behind the advice.

I’m Lynn Fee. My team is behind Move To Grimsby, and we help people buy and sell homes in Grimsby and neighbouring communities through RE/MAX Escarpment Realty Inc.

My name is on the team, but several people contribute to the work we do. Getting to know them will tell you quite a bit about us.

TL;DR

  • I am Lynn Fee, and my team helps people buy and sell in Grimsby through RE/MAX Escarpment Realty, with more than 20 years of local experience.
  • Several people support your move, from Realtors to operations, listings and marketing, and client care, so ask who your main contact will be.
  • We share a lot about Grimsby neighbourhoods and local spots because knowing the town helps you decide where you actually want to be.
  • You can expect honest advice, even when that means suggesting Grimsby, or a particular area, may not be the right fit for you.

A Little About Me

I’ve been selling real estate in Grimsby for more than 20 years. One question I hear often is which neighbourhood is best. My answer usually starts with finding out what someone enjoys about where they live now, and what they hope a move will change.

Perhaps you’re tired of looking after a large property. Perhaps you want space for family visits, but you’d also like to leave the car at home more often.

Those details give us something useful to work with. A smaller home won’t necessarily make life easier if its layout frustrates you every day. A bigger yard may be lovely, provided you actually enjoy maintaining it.

I enjoy helping people work through those choices. There is room to change your mind as you learn what suits you.

The People Helping With Your Move

A reasonable question when you’re considering a real estate team is, “Who will I actually be dealing with?”

Alongside our Realtors, we have people responsible for different parts of the work. Donna Young leads operations. Kim Thompson works on listings and marketing, while Sommer Schottlander handles our transactions department and Maribeth Lipiec is our Client Care Co-Ordinator.

For sellers, that support matters because preparing and marketing a home involves work beyond the conversations you have with your agent. Our team has dedicated marketing, administrative and transaction support. Listing marketing includes video, staging and print materials, as well as online promotion.

Our agents also meet each week to discuss listings and share information. They have colleagues and experienced leadership to consult when questions come up.

Having several people involved works best when you understand their roles. Before choosing to work with us, ask who your main contact will be, how you’ll receive updates and who can help when your agent is in an appointment.

You deserve to feel comfortable asking those questions. Clear communication starts before you hire anyone.

Why We Share So Much About Grimsby

MoveToGrimsby.com gives us a place to share neighbourhood information, local businesses and things to do around town. You’ll also find contributions from individual team members about places they know personally.

Kim, for example, has written about childhood winters spent tobogganing at Centennial Park by Nelles School, and returning with her own children. Donna has shared her fondness for the beachfront trail and her coffee stop at Station One, close to our office.

I like that readers get to know a little about the people they’ll be speaking with.

Those recommendations can also give you a useful starting point for a visit. Leave some time between looking at homes to walk around. Stop for coffee. Try an errand you’d make during an ordinary week.

You may discover that the part of town you enjoy most differs from the one that first caught your attention online.

Local Advice Includes an Honest Opinion

Grimsby Beach and Grimsby on the Lake both put you near the water, but the housing is quite different. Grimsby Beach has its colourful historic homes and cottage character. Grimsby on the Lake has newer condos and townhomes. Saying you want to be “near the lake” leaves quite a lot to discuss.

That’s where a conversation becomes useful. Do you want a home with character that you’ll enjoy caring for? Would you prefer less maintenance? How much private outdoor space would you miss?

The same honesty applies to choosing Grimsby itself.

I’ve sometimes encouraged buyers to consider another community when they describe wanting busy nightlife or the pace of downtown Toronto. A daily commute to Toronto also deserves careful consideration before someone commits to living here. I love Grimsby, and I understand that it won’t suit everyone.

You can expect that kind of conversation with me. I’d rather understand a concern while you’re still deciding than have you wish you’d raised it after moving.

You’ll See Us Around Town, Too

Our community involvement includes the Pumpkin Food Drive with Hildreth Farms, supporting the Grimsby Benevolent Fund and Community Care of West Niagara. We’ve also supported Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara through events such as Bowl for Kids Sake and Curl for Kids Sake.

In 2025, the Grimsby and District Chamber of Commerce recognized our team with its Collaboration Is Key award. The category recognizes community contribution and partnerships with other businesses and organizations.

These are good opportunities to meet us away from a home showing or listing appointment. You can get a feel for the people on the team without having a real estate decision on the table.

Are We the Right Fit for You?

You may be new to Grimsby and unsure where to begin. Or you may have lived here for years and feel uncertain about selling a home you’ve owned for a long time.

Either way, use an initial conversation to judge whether we’re a good fit.

Tell us what you’re worried about. Ask how we would help with your particular situation. Pay attention to whether the answers make sense to you and whether you feel comfortable asking another question.

The relationship matters. You need to be able to say that a property feels wrong, that you’re uncomfortable with a decision or that you need something explained again.

Let’s Talk About Your Move

You don’t need to have a moving date picked out before getting in touch.

Tell us what you’re considering and what you haven’t figured out yet. Perhaps you’re weighing up a move to Grimsby. Perhaps you’re wondering whether downsizing would make life easier.

We can start with that conversation and work out what information would help you decide.
